Pearl and Coby are friends with a brother and sister, Tavin and Kirra.  Kirra is 4 and 

Tavin is 6.  Funny that Coby (age 3) considers Tavin his best friend ;)

                           

                               

                                                                    Coby's first day of Primary!!
                                        I heard him tell a few people proudly, "Yep, I'm a primary boy now."  

Coby's latest favorite game is to put people (namely KC and an occasional babysitter) in jail.  He got handcuffs for Christmas and he takes my yarn and creates a "web jail" in his room.

      Nice, nice January weather.
We have had just a few weeks of cold weather (50's) so far this winter.

Coby's first dentist appointment to get his teeth cleaned.  Pearl had an appt too.  

She went first to show him how easy it was.  I wasn't sure how he would react 

when it was his turn but he did great!  She sat there with his eyes clenched 

shut and his mouth wide open the whole time.  He didn't move or say a word.   

Fun times at the arcades and ice skating in San Antonio.  

It was Pearl and Coby's first time ice skating. :)  

It was more difficult than they thought it would be.  

They (and KC and I) were done after 30 minutes.  

 But they want to go back and try again.

Feeding the catfish at a pond near our house.  A  lady who lives near the pond taught us that catfish love dog food.  So we bought a big bag and go feed the catfish once in a while.  Pearl is on KC's shoulders because she is afraid of the ducks in the pond.

    We found a buried treasure chest once for family home evening.  It was filled with gold and jewels.

My sister Mindy and her family came to visit!!  Beautiful weather at the beach!!  

While the girls and Coby basked in the sun at the beach, KC and Jay were torturing themselves on a 9-hour deep sea fishing trip.  KC threw up over the boat 5 times :s  They caught some pretty cool red snapper though.

                   We stayed the night at "The Pearl" hotel. :)

                                                    A fun dinner on the bay as the sun was setting.

                       And of course we had to go visit the sea turtles and feed them romaine.

                        And go jumping at the mall...
