A visit to the zoo in Brownsville with friends.  Our best day at the zoo yet!  Perfect weather.

My parents stayed a week with us and then we (minus KC) headed to San Antonio.  

We visited the Alamo.  Coby was fascinated by the guns and canons.   

We also went to Sea World on President's Day.  No crowds at all.  It was awesome!

 Then we headed to Austin, TX to visit my dad's sister and her family.  They just bought 10 acres of property and built a house.  Pearl and Coby were in heaven.  Pearl, Coby, and I got to stay in their motor home.

 We hiked around the property and went boating on a lake that is just down the road.  

Can you see why they had a great time??

And on top of all the fun adventures, my cousin Jenny brought her kids over to play a few times while we were there.  Austin is a 6 hour drive from McAllen.  So we may not make it there often...but it sure was fun!
