School supply shopping!
Pearl and Coby each had a LONG list of supplies they needed for school.
Coby would not be dissuaded from this black backpack with spikes :s

We finished reading Charlotte's Web and planned to watch the movie. The day we had planned to watch the movie we found pig-shaped gingerbread cookies at the grocery store bakery. What luck! There were no other gingerbread cookies...just pigs. So we frosted and ate Wilburs.
I love summer. I love that Pearl and Coby had time to play together.
Pearl even talked Coby into being the dad and playing dolls with her on a few occasions.
Ready for soccer camp! We must be acclimating if we are doing soccer camp in August. The camp was just 3 evenings, for an hour each day. Still, I was happy to be watching from the shade ;)
I planned a school clothes shopping trip to the outlet mall. Since Pearl and Coby only lasted 2 stores last year, I thought I would add back-to-school haircuts to the tradition. Pearl's hair was cut way shorter than I expected! She loved it though, and admired it in every store mirror while shopping.
We had to have a snow cone break. This was an hour after our ice cream break.
I forget that shopping the outlet malls on a 105 degree afternoon isn't 100% enjoyable.
Maybe next year we will just hit the mall, or Target.
Summer fun!

Pearl and Coby enjoyed a 3-hour basketball clinic.
This clinic also runs a little league that we are going to try this year.
On our ward bus trip to the temple. This girl LOVES her daddy.
She looks too grown up with her missing tooth and shorter hair.
Coby is never without a gang of boys at every church activity.
These three road the whole 4 hours like this, building legos most of the time.
San Antonio Temple
Asleep on the bus trip home.
Sunday nap
Coby practicing his letters while Pearl practiced piano.
Proof that we did do a few productive things this summer :)
This is Pearl's "I'm heading to Utah" face. Nothing makes her happier. She says if she could go anywhere in the world, she would go to Utah. Coby's friend Isaac and his family just happened to be on our flight to SLC.
