Bentley Family: December 2013

We returned from Utah on December 1st, to find that Elfy had returned!!

I love the Elf on the Shelf tradition. Coby and Pearl love him.

The first thing they said every morning in December was "Where's Elfy?"

Following Coby's preschool Christmas Concert. He was not excited to perform and doesn't like to sing. He was happy when it was over though ;)

In December we took a trip to Disney World! Another late flight, Coby fell asleep.

Pearly ready for Disney World! Thursday night we flew into Florida. We had Friday and Saturday to spend at Disney World and then flew home Sunday. The weather was perfect and the crowds were low. We waited about 10 minutes on average for each ride. Friday we spent at Magic Kingdom and Saturday at Hollywood Studios. Pearl and Coby were perfect ages to go. They were tall enough and brave enough to ride just about everything.

A fun lunch at Cinderella's castle. A little pricey but we thought it was worth it. The princess came around to each table for greetings and pictures. I made Coby get in this picture with Cinderella, but opted out of all of the others.

Ariel called Pearl "angel fish." Pearl thought that was hilarious.

Magic Kingdom at night was beautiful.

We stayed at the Dolphin resort.

We watched Honey I Shrunk the Kids in the summer.

They loved this playground part of Hollywood Studios.

A great Beauty and the Beast performance.

We packed all the fun we could into 2 days and then headed home.

We definitely want to go back soon!!

Coby especially was in heaven.

Then it rained the rest of the month so no work was done :s

Christmas morning! Pearl's favorite gift was her kitchen.

Coby got a tool bench with real tools. He also got a real bow and arrow.

Pearl and Coby love the Disney Jr. show Octonauts.

The got all of the octonaut toys and have been playing with them constantly.

I got a new toaster to replace the one we got when we were married. I also got a scooter!! I've been on several scooter rides with Pearl and Coby. We want to start scootering to school occasionally.

The weekend after Christmas we took a trip to San Antonio. We saw the movie "Frozen" (loved it!!) and went to the temple. We also tried out this tubing and snowboarding park.

The tubing was fun. The snowboarding was fun for Pearl and Coby who glided down with ease. I, on the other hand, went down 3 times and managed to fall twice. My last fall about broke my tailbone so I called it quits. Too old to learn new tricks I think!!
