We decided to get an early start each morning to beat the crowds. This morning, however, it was POURING. We all bundled up braved the weather.

We did beat the crowds and were able to walk on to a few rides before everyone was too wet and cold. We went on Pirates of the Caribbean as our last ride that morning. Pearl was scared and crying by the end. It was still pouring at this point and we decided that we were wet and cold enough that we better head back to the motel. We tried to make it back before the kids had total meltdowns, but were unsuccessful. Pearl cried the whole way home, saying "My legs are freezing!" "I'm scarred of pirates!" "No more Disneyland!" While Pearl was cuddled up in the reclined back seat of the stroller, Coby, who goes with the flow much better than his dear sister, took the front (and coldest) seat. He leaned to the side so that the rain wasn't entirely running down his face, ate a string cheese, and didn't say a word the whole trek back.

I wish I had a few pictures of the best part of Day two at Disneyland. That evening Gram, Papa, Kenz and Beth stayed at the motel and put the children to bed while the married couples spent the evening at Disney Land. We rode all of the best rides and stayed until midnight when the park closed. I had no idea that Disney Land was so amazing! I was seriously impressed. I went to Disney Land when I was four years old so I had no idea what it was like. It totally surpassed my expectations. Everything is so elaborate and put together so well. I really want to go back...when the kids are several years older though. ;)
